Terms & Conditions

Quillfire is an AI-assisted studio for fiction authors. It helps you research the market, develop concepts, outline, draft, edit and translate. It also produces covers, audiobooks and finished manuscripts.

• You must be 18 or older. Quillfire supports mature fiction.
• Give accurate details when you register and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
• New accounts need approval, and we may decline a sign-up.
• You can close your account at any time from Settings.

You agree not to use Quillfire to:

• create unlawful content, or content that harasses, defames, or promotes harm to real people;
• create sexual content involving minors, or characters presented as minors, in any form. This leads to immediate termination and, where required, a report to the authorities;
• create sexual content about real, identifiable people;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
• probe, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or get around the service's security, rate limits or approval process;
• share your account, resell access, or give automated third-party access without our permission.

Mature romance between clearly adult, consenting fictional characters is allowed. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

You own your work. This includes your prompts, manuscripts, outlines, characters, and the AI-generated text, images and audio created in your projects (“Outputs”), to the extent the law allows. We claim no ownership. You give us only the limited permission we need to store, process and send your content to our processors so the service can work for you.

AI can produce content that is inaccurate, unoriginal, or similar to existing works. Before you publish, you are responsible for reviewing Outputs and meeting retailer rules, including AI-disclosure requirements such as Amazon KDP's. In some countries, purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright.

Outputs come from third-party AI models. We make no promise that they are accurate, original, fit for a particular purpose, or commercially successful. Market-research figures may be AI-estimates and are labelled that way. They are not financial or professional advice.

Quillfire is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause, or stop features, and some tasks (such as audiobook narration) can be slow or fail. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. The export tools are there for exactly that.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. When reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to export your work. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Quillfire and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer under laws that apply to you.

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes, we'll email account holders before they take effect. If you keep using Quillfire after that, you accept the updated terms.
