Terms of Use

Quillfire is an AI-assisted writing studio for fiction authors. It helps you research the market, develop concepts, outline, draft, edit, and prepare manuscripts, covers, and related publishing materials. By creating an account or using Quillfire, you agree to these Terms of Use.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. New accounts may require approval before access is granted. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to use Quillfire to:

• create content that is unlawful, or that depicts or promotes harm to real people;
• infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• resell or provide automated third-party access to the service without permission.

Quillfire supports mature romance fiction between clearly adult, consenting fictional characters. Content involving minors in any sexualised context is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.

You retain all rights to the material you create with Quillfire — your prompts, manuscripts, outlines, characters, and the AI-generated text, images, and audio produced within your projects (“Outputs”). Quillfire claims no ownership of your Outputs. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process your content in order to operate the service for you.

You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before publishing them. AI can produce content that is inaccurate, unoriginal, or similar to other works; you are solely responsible for ensuring your published work meets your own standards and any third-party platform requirements (for example, retailer content and AI-disclosure policies).

Outputs are generated by third-party AI models and are provided without warranties of accuracy, quality, originality, fitness for a particular purpose, or commercial success. Market research figures shown in the app may be AI-estimated and are labelled accordingly; they are not financial or professional advice.

Quillfire is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do our best to keep your data safe, but you should keep your own copies of work that matters to you (the export tools exist for exactly this).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quillfire and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use Quillfire after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
